The Cottage Kinghorn
Morachd UK
My thought process behind my ideas around this has came from work I have already done for this Company Morachd UK. I think this would be the ideal opportunity to do a promotional Images for their property services whilst completing my HND1. I need a business plan. After a brief run down we have decided the video needs to focus on inviting high end customers to engage with the company.
About Morachd UK
A Family run business started from scratch in sunny Cowdenbeath. Directors are young husband and wife Toni & John Mair who have both lived in Scotland their entire lives. This business started out as a linen and launderette company with a logo on their car. Toni says her approach was ''fake it, until you make it'' and her business as came on leaps and bounds ever since. They both now run an established business in property management, Renovations, Development, Linen hire, Cleaning services and now offer their own branded cleaning and hygiene products as well as their own branded linen in each property they run. The property we have focused on is a new property just outside Kirkcaldy in Kinghorn. this property has fantastic views of the coast.

Business Plan
Promotional and marketing Local Business Video for social media and website to help give an insight to local corporate company and how they work.
1- story board- what is the business background? why and when did it begin? what exactly do I need?
2- shooting script/screen play- what sequence will I shoot in? what concepts will I use? what equipment do I need? Company staff- who is prepared to be filmed? inform staff of what is required. Tell a story without words, visualizing what the end product will look like.

Research
As usual I jumped into the project first then done my research after. below are my 10 research images.
I decided to use a local real estate company that done similar work. I was going to use previous work I had done for the company but I did not have any references to offer in return. I decided to use local property photographer, find she does similar camera angles and work as I do and I often look at her page for some ideas. https://www.yvonnemitchellphotography.com/gallery
About Yvonne Mitchel
Yvonne was a worker in London developing magazines and sales before becoming a photographer. She specialised in advertising but found she had a good eye behind the camera and a natural talent when it came to photography especially in property. After beginning photography she has not looked back. Although I did not find any portraits within her portfolio I did however find some very nice property images that interlinked with my corporate job.
